Families First Volunteers
We are always looking for dedicated community members to join the Families First team as volunteers. Since our inception in 1986, thousands have freely offered their time and gifts. The agency greatly appreciates this sacrifice. Without you, our work would not be possible. Read below to learn more about some of our volunteer opportunities!
Community Advisory Council for Teen Parents
We are looking for persons who have an interest in advocacy and support for our teen parents. We have teenage fathers too so we can use some men on our Council as well. This group meets monthly at noon usually at the end of each month. We serve you lunch during this time.

Community Advisory Council for Supervised Visitation
We are looking for persons who have an interest in helping maintain supervised visitation and safe exchange center. Volunteers will provide professional expertise and/or referral assistance as appropriate to ensure the center meets all safety, legal and ethical obligations. Volunteers will attend quarterly meetings and special events. Volunteers will provide program feedback and/or suggestions to the Committee, the Visitation Center Coordinator and the Director of Families First as appropriate.

Huggers 'n Rockers Club
We are in the beginning stages of recruitment for volunteers at this time. These volunteers will work in our Drop-In Court Child Care Center to help us take care of the little ones while their parents conduct business in the court house. We are looking for a team of folks who can commit to a regular schedule of time each month of continuity with our children. For example, every third Tuesday from 9-12. Court child care is currently operating Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 1:00, but there is a possibility we may extend to some afternoon times and Fridays.
